Hello fellow Toronto UX Book Club Members,
We are set to meet Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30 PM to discuss See What I Mean: How to Use Comics to Communicate Ideas by Kevin Cheng (216 pages).
About the book:
Comics are a unique way to communicate, using both image and text to effectively demonstrate time, function, and emotion. Just as vividly as they convey the feats of superheroes, comics tell stories of your users and your products. Comics can provide your organization with an exciting and effective alternative to slogging through requirements documents and long reports. In See What I Mean, Kevin Cheng, OK/Cancel founder/cartoonist and founder of Off Panel Productions, will teach you how you can use comics as a powerful communication tool without trained illustrators.
You can get See What I Mean from:
Rosenfeld Media: http://j.mp/rmsee

We welcome all, including those who might be thinking about reading the book or are only part way through – the “UX Book Lovers”; those who have read the book and want to join the conversation – the “UX Book Readers”; and those who have read the book and want to help start the conversation by sharing their thoughts on what they read – the “Discussion Starters”. We often don’t have a Discussion Starter but it’s always better when we do have one or two. It’s a relaxed gig, and even just a few words on what you liked and what you didn’t like is enough to get things going.
We look forward to seeing you on the 14th.
Cheers, Kim and Kaleem
