Hi Danny,

 

I'm currently completing an MSc. in HCI at the University of Sussex and I'm looking for people to help with my study, I hope you don't mind me emailing you but would you be able to help out with completing it and forwarding it around as I need quite a few people? Anyone can do it, provided they are aged over 18, even those in other countries. The details and link are below.

Masters degree academic/scientific research study

 

 

You are invited to participate in a short study that forms part of my Masters (MSc.) in Human Computer Interaction.  

 

Format

 

You will be presented with several images that represent webpages and you will be asked to create logins for each of them, you will also be asked to answer some survey questions and some abstract questions which require no special prior knowledge.

 

There are two parts to the study, the first will take approximately 12 minutes to complete, the second will take approximately 5 minutes to complete in 7 days time (you will be sent an email with a web link).

 

Please do not discuss the study with anybody else while you are completing it and it is also important that you complete the session without interruptions.

 

Privacy and consent

 

Your privacy is important and the information collected will be kept strictly confidential and used only for the purposes of this study. Your email address will be stored separately from the responses that you provide so that they are not personally identifiable. Further, all responses to the study will be analysed for statistical patterns across all participants and not by individual patterns of responses. By clicking on one of the links below you are consenting to take part in the study and that you can withdraw at any point without giving any reason. Participation

 

If you have a mobile smartphone, such as an iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry or Android it will be beneficial to the study if you were able to participate using this, otherwise please use a desktop or laptop computer. Part one of the study closes 11th August at 9pm UK time, so please complete it before then.

Hi Jeremy

Do you need UX specialists to do your study? Or just normal humans? Be careful with your recruitment / screening process, you will get hammered on this by your examiner if you don't do it right and write it up clearly.
