I've rescheduled the date of last month's book club that was cancelled because of the weather. Here's all the details for the new date of Wednesday 25th February.
We're reading
A Web For Everyone by Sarah Horton and Whitney Quesenbery, which is a very useful book on accessibility and universal design. Additionally, we're going to be joined by Whitney on Skype to discuss creating digital content for everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is a huge subject, and one that is frequently overlooked by designers and developers, even though there are laws covering the rights of people (for example, employees and members of the public) to be able to access information.
The book contains a lot of information for anyone creating digital products. Please grab a copy of the book and come along with any of your team to discuss the important topic of accessibility, and how it's not something you tack on at the end of a project but something that can improve the usability of a product for everyone.
