A friend of mine is hiring a UX lead. I’ve never worked with him or his co-founder before but I know people who have, and both the CEO and CTO come highly recommended. Both founders have had successful exits in the past (to Pearson and McGraw Hill respectively).
It’s a neat opportunity to work on a small, experienced team that’s really dedicated to getting the pedagogy and learning design of higher ed courseware right. They have an impressive group of funders and advisers.
