UX Contract Opportunity
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to help us communicate AI-generated
insights to our customers in intuitive and meaningful ways. As part of a rapidly
growing company in an exciting industry, you’ll help us build products that
delight our customers by designing applications that incorporate advanced
visualization with modern functionality.

UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements,
designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be
successful in this role, you should be obsessive about clean design, data
visualization, and the distillation of complex ideas into actionable information.
Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address
our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product
managers and engineers

Develop, implement, and maintain user flows, specifications, mockups,
and prototypes that clearly illustrate function and form

Communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models,
and screen designs with other members of the team

Design graphic user interface elements like menus, widgets, and data
visualizations

Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)

Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key
stakeholders

Conduct user testing and measure the human-computer interaction
(HCI) element of a design

Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

Conduct ongoing usability testing, and suggest layout adjustments
based on user feedback

Develop and adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images


Requirements

Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web based, mobile,
and consumer facing applications

Passion for understanding (and keeping the team and clients informed
about) current and emerging UX/UI trends and their role in a
commercial environment, especially enterprise software.

Knowledge of wireframe, mockup, and design software (Adobe
Illustrator and Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, wireframe.cc, Invision, etc.)

Excellent organizational, time and project management skills

Ability to work well with ambiguity or when requirements are still in flux

Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

Impeccable skills visual and motion design preferred

Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS design capabilities;
front-end development experience a significant benefit

Degree in Human Interaction Design, Digital Media Design, Computer
Science or relevant field preferred
