JISC podcasts are an insight into trends in libraries and learning
from the UK. They are the OCLC counterpart in leadership and worth
listening to a few when you have a chance:

Tim O'Shea, for example, started in technology at Bangor (Wales, of
course!) and was writing pith 25 years ago. He apparently has
progressed to Edinburgh, so my first "listen" will be Tim.

It is a matter of sussing out trends and creating the future....
