Dear Uwo,

If you have already completed the survey - thank you!

If you have not taken the survey, please read on:

We are trying to determine if the System News publication is meeting
your needs. For us to continue to provide you this free, high-quality
technical, publication, it is becoming increasingly important that we
can validate its usefulness to you, the reader!

It is rare that we ask our readers to take an action in exchange for the
value that we provide. This is one of those occasions. We have selected
a small random, subset of our readers to ask to take this brief survey,
so your participation is really very important to us. We are based in
Florida, so we know the significance of a small number of votes! Make
yours count!

Please answer the 9 questions in the following anonymous survey. It should
take 3 to 6 minutes of your time. We recognize that your time is valuable.

Anonymous Survey web site:
http://www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?BSN2KVHVSNNFHMDVGDREV507

This ugly URL was generated by the survey web site software. It does
contain an encoded form of your email address.

Thanks for your help!

Uwo,

Oops, we made a mistake with our previous request asking you
to participate in the System News survey.

We were concerned, disappointed and bewildered that we received
such a poor response to our survey request. Fortunately, due to the
participation of some our readers in the survey, we learned that
it appears as if we are tracking individuals and their responses
because of the ugly url provided to us by the survey company.
We had not considered this. We suspect that this is the reason why
many people chose to not to participate in the survey.

To address those concerns, we have created a URL
which will redirect you to the actual survey URL. It should
now be crystal clear to those technical people who expressed
concern over being tracked that there is no tracking!

Here is the "clean" URL:
www.systemnews.com/survey

Again, please take the survey with the confidence that it is indeed
anonymous. We are hoping to use the results of the survey to improve
your reader experience.

We also wish to express our thanks to those people who brought
this concern to our attention. To those who already completed
the survey, thank you!
