Join us for our first webinar specifically for graduate
students! Specifically targeted towards students
en-route to a postdoc appointment and current postdocs, this webinar will focus
on what graduate students need to do to ensure their postdoc experience is
successful. We will:

investigate how graduate students can best prepare for this
challenge,

demonstrate how to orchestrate a personal career plan that
includes a postdoc and develop a Plan B and Plan C for contingencies,
-
discuss what student should do now to enhance their CVs and
research reputations for the postdoc and beyond, and
-
discuss what they should look for in and how they can leverage a
Postdoc appointment to that can set themselves up for success in the field.

Our Speaker
Alaina G. Levine is an award-winning science journalist, science and engineering careers consultant, and professional speaker. She is the author of Networking for Nerds (Wiley, 2015), which provides networking strategies for scientists and engineers. Through her company, Quantum Success Solutions, Levine has been advising emerging and established scientists and engineers about their careers for over a decade.
Previously, she directed the Professional Science Master's in applied science and business programs and taught entrepreneurship to science and engineering graduate students at the University of Arizona (UA).
