Hey everyone,

Chromodoris is heading down to Albany for the Easter long weekend.

Dates: 25th March through to 28th March

Cost: $300/diver for dorm accommodation, includes a basic breakfast each day, boat snacks and as many dives as the skippers can fit in. For those who wish to provide their own accommodation, the trip will be $175/diver, and you will be responsible for arranging to meet the boat at the required time.

Accommodation:

Albany’s Bayview Backpackers YHA, 49 Duke St, Albany, 08 98 42 3388

  • Booked from Friday night through to Sunday night, checking out on Monday morning
  • Dorm room with one double bed and 5 singles, additional beds available
  • Communal kitchen and bbq facilities

Diving:

  • Boat – we are taking Doris, so should get at least four dives each, maybe more
  • Friday – boat driven down from Perth in the morning; one or two dives in the afternoon, weather and light permitting
  • Saturday – two or three dives on the former HMAS Perth or Cheynes III, weather permitting
  • Sunday – two or three dives on the former HMAS Perth or Cheynes III, weather permitting
  • Monday – return to Perth
  • Once numbers are confirmed, the trip coordinator will send out a schedule and people can select their preferences.  Changes should be easy to make but will be the responsibility of the diver.

Food: A basic breakfast is provided by the backpackers each morning.  The rest of it plan on providing yourself or organizing with fellow trippers.

Full payment will be required to confirm your spot on the trip, and must be in the UWAUC bank account by Monday 11th March at the latest. Please remember to transfer the appropriate fee into the UWAUC bank account (details at http://www.uwauc.org.au), using the description 'Albany16_#SURNAME#'. Please send a copy of the transaction receipt through to me to confirm the payment. Please note, payments are not refundable, it is the divers responsibility to find a replacement once payment has been made.

Happy diving!
