Hello All.
Thanks for volunteering everyone, here are some initial details on the day.
When: This Friday - 26th Feb between 8:30 to about 4:30
Where: Uni Campus, James Oval, LOT B72, near the south west cricket nets - Look for the Big Yellow Boat
The official times for the day are;
7:00 to 9:30 Set up stalls with boat, marquee, decorations and materials. I will get there early ( about 7am ) and drop of the materials for the day and start setting up the boat and marquee etc.
10:00 to 10:30 Be ready to start ( official start is 11:00 but heaps of students get there early )
3:30 to 4:30 pack up and move boat off the oval before 5:00
Volunteers / Legends: Times are a preferred indication and negotiable.
Bryon Begovich ( 6:00am to 7:30pm ) boat transfer magician and focal point for day
Morning about 8:30 to 12:30

Tips/Ideas for the day:
All club info, membership prices, trip info, etc is all on the Info Sheet forms (please have a read before you start.
You will get a LOT of students want to know how they can become a diver – Point them towards Kieran J.
It can get really tiresome talking constantly so please make sure you have a break and check out the other stands (or hit the Redbull stand directly opposite ours for freebies to keep you buzzing!!)
Regarding Memberships: ( see also the attached membership form for hints )
Please DO NOT give out membership stickers unless you have
1) received their signed membership form and ensured ALL sections are signed,
2) sighted their dive cert card and recorded number on form,
3) completed the bottom of the membership form with your details,
4) received their $30 membership fee in cash, and
5) given them a receipt (and recorded receipt number on membership form at bottom).
6) put the sticker on their dive card.
7) Get them to fill out an AGM proxy form and give them a AGM invite ticket
Parking will be difficult to say the least at the O-Day Festival so read the parking signs carefully and give yourself plenty of time to find a park. On the day, ONLY student parking bays (yellow areas) are free (although limited in number). Please note that parking on James Oval is a big no no and you will get a ticket. Ticket parking is available - just check your time limit. If you get a parking ticket on the day the Guild cant help you! The UWA website has parking info and PDF maps (http://maps.uwa.edu.au/).
Or get public transport, the busses run frequently to and from the Uni along Stirling highway see http://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Default.aspx .
