PSA Games Night Changes

[UW PSA]

Dear PSA members,

We organized and publicized the PSA Games Night event after discussing it with the FEDS Clubs Director’s Assistant. After approval and publicity of the event we have been approached by the FEDS Clubs Director himself and have been given some bad news.

They are not allowing us to give gift cards as prizes to the winners of each games category. This was approved for us before the event was publicized. Attached with this email is an email of apology from the FEDS Clubs Director. The changes are made to the tickets and prizes, details of which are given below.

- The tickets have been lowered from $5 per person to $2 per person.

- Instead of gift cards there are going to be Trophies for the winners in each category

We would like to apologize on the behalf of FEDS and also on behalf of the FEDS Clubs Director’s Assistant as he was not aware of the exact rules to carry out such an event. New details of the event are below this email.

PSA presents Games night - knockout tournaments

 

Location: SLC Multi Purpose Room (MPR)

Date: November 9th 2009

Time: 6:00 pm registration

           6:45 pm tournaments start

           Midnight tournaments end

Poker championship

Chess championship

Scrabble championship

 

Winner in each category gets a Trophy with bragging rights, of course.

Registration starts at 6:00 pm. 
Games start at 6:45 pm sharp and should finish by midnight. 

$2 entry per person to gaming zone. Popcorn and pop included.
Upon entry, choice of entering only one championship!
All three tournaments start at the same time. 

Come out for a night of friendly battle with your fellow community members!
