We have launched our website with information about the schedule and venue: iuw2018.mie.utoronto.ca. Feel free to share this link with your student groups and promote it on your sites.

Please encourage student researchers in human factors and related fields to submit an abstract. Read the call for abstracts here. Everyone, including prospective presenters, should register via our Eventbrite page so we can gain an estimate of attendance.

Important deadlines:

Now: Conference registration is open

September 28: Abstract submission opens for oral and poster presentations

November 2: Abstract submission deadline for oral and poster presentations

November 12: Conference registration ends

New this year: Defence Research and Development Canada, DRDC, is offering a complimentary tour of their facilities for a limited number of IUW attendees. Stay tuned for more details! (Note: unfortunately, the tour is restricted to Canadian and U.S. citizens.)

We are also asking for your help in making the dinner reception fun and engaging! If you have any ideas for how we can do this (live music, tech showcase), or if you’d like to contribute, please contact us at iuwcha...@mie.utoronto.ca
