Sunday, August 9, 2015. Registration will open at 9:00 AM and the tournament will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. There will be no pre-registration for this event, so please arrive early on the day of the event to ensure an entry promo.
This event costs $5 to play. For each player, 1.5 packs will be added to the prize pool.

Compete for the crown of Magic Origins Champion of the University of Waterloo! The last ever 8 set Gameday!

Game Days are Standard Constructed format with a cut to top 8. The tournament will be Swiss-style, with the number of rounds determined by attendance using the standard formula. The following sets are legal as of the release of Magic Origins: Theros, Born of the Gods, Journey into Nyx, Magic 2015, Khans of Tarkir, Fate Reforged, Dragons of Tarkir and Magic Origins.

All participants will receive a Conclave Naturalists full-art promo card (while supplies last). The top eight players will each also receive an exclusive Languish full-art promo card. These cards are awarded to the top eight players even if the tournament cuts only to the top four. 

The overall winner receives the Magic Origins Game Day Champion title, along with an exclusive Game Day Champion Playmat.
