CALL FOR DONATIONS TO JUMBLE SALE

Friends of Campus Cats collects items for its annual jumble sale all year
round, and this is a better time than most to send your donations our way!

The Campus Cats Jumble Sale (translate rummage sale) is the mainstay for
our feral cat rescue & sterilize/return program. Without the proceeds
from this sale we simply could not get by. As it is, our coffers are on
the low side -- with kitten season just around the corner.

Needed is cat-kitch, books, art, kitchen items and other small ware, small
furniture, and small appliances. (Sorry; we cannot handle or store large
appliances and large pieces of furniture.) Clothing also accepted, but
we prefer the unusual or the fancy. It's ok to give us all your surplus
stuff, though; what we can't save for the sale is sent on to other worthy
charities and nonprofits.

We can pick up from your doorstep or you may contact me for our delivery
point in North Seattle. University of Washington staff/faculty/students
may bring goods to me on campus if you wish, but please call ahead.

This year's sale is set for the weekend of August 23-24. As last year, we
will be part of a block sale in the Maple Leaf neighborhood, near
Northgate Mall (at least that is the plan so far). Our sale alone is
worth the trip, though. Huge sale! Great stuff, great prices, with even
better prices on Sunday. Mark those dates on your calendar! Come one,
call all; even dog lovers are welcome! (And dogs are welcome, too,
provided they keep their humans on leash and at heel.)

And as always we need volunteers to help set up, cashier, truck our
display tables to the site and back again, and clean up. Please contact
