Campus Cats is almost there with an at-home computer, thanks to the
untiring efforts of our intrepid webmaster, Ken. I am now the proud owner
of a Powermac 7100, sold to me at a fair price by a fellow animal lover
(thanks, Cliff). All that is needed to complete the system is a modem and
a moniter and a printer of some sort. I will probably buy a new modem but
would rather find a decent used moniter and printer. I pretty much blew
the wad with the CPU.
I'm not yet up and running from homebase, but my new e-mail address for
Campus Cats affairs is fera...@itchy.serv.net. For on-campus animal
emergencies, please contact me at the stal...@u.washington.edu address or
call my office. Please don't hesitate to contact me at my office or home
if it is an emergency such as an injured animal or kitten sighting. When
the new computer is installed, I will be doing all Campus Cats business
from home evenings and weekends but will still wish to be contacted
directly and at once in case of on-campus emergency. If you don't know
how to reach me, contact the campus police -- they have my numbers.
On that note, let me remind you that wildlife rehab is not my area, though
I respond when I can with critters I can handle. If you spot a wild
animal in distress, I recommend you call Bob Jones of Sarvey Wildlife
Center. His cell phone is 669-8930. The campus police also have his
number.

The Shabby Tabby (now known as Mortimer) has found a home! The poor old
tom who was recently rescued found a wonderful home. I will include his
story in the Jan-Feb issue of Up Your Alley. Watch for his adoption pic
in the website.
Fleas Navidad, everyone, and have a Hairy Christmas.
