FERAL CAT COALITION

Cat rescuers in the Seattle/King County area are seeking other rescuers or
interested parties to form a feral cat coalition. We are very much at the
formative stage and struggling to come to a mission agreement. Is there
anybody out there who would like to join us? We are proponents of the
trap/test/sterilize/return approach to the human management of feral cats.
We are meeting on about a monthly basis, with a goal of making a
difference in policies pertaining to feral cats and high hopes that we can
perform as an advisory body to those wishing to manage the feral cats in
their area.

Please join us, if only to help us come together into common format.
E-mail me directly and I will get back to you. Our next meeting will
probably be October 20 or 27 (Sunday) from 2-4 p.m. in Seattle.

Sharon,
I wasn't sure from your post if you were talking about a national gathering
or just a local group. I think it would be a great idea, but am unable to
travel. I am going to K.C. next week just for the weekend and still haven't
worked everthing out. It's just too hard to leave here. Let me know what
comes of this.
