(This message is also being posted to uwash.friends-of-campus-cats and
rec.pets.cats, in the hope of finding a Seattle-area foster parent.)
Campus Cats is plumb-full, with urgent requests coming in (from non-Campus
sources) for foster care. Are there any soft-hearted souls in the Seattle
area who could take in an animal in need?
URGENT! Newborn kittens (litter of three, I believe 3 days old) without a
mother (to experienced foster parents only)
Tame momcat about to give birth (or perhaps gave birth last night) -
currently with south-Seattle rescuer (who will take family back when
kittens are 4 weeks old)
Tame elderly Persian or Persian-mix tortie female, apparently on her own,
in need of loving care (this one is being evaluated by our vet before
release to foster care or retirement home)
If any of these critters reach out to you, get back to me asap and I will
get you in touch with the right party.
I don't plan to make a habit of posting this kind of thing to the general
rpc readership, by the way. Wouldn't have done so this time but for the
newborns.
Thanks very much.

The Dawn should be breaking about this time, and as the various cats
leave through the portals between the screens, we can then reflect on the
meaning of the Jellicle Ball: To Remember What Happiness Is; To Love One
Another, so a New Day can begin.

perhaps allowing oneself to be owned by a cat." -- Catherine Manley
