C++ Programmer in BERMUDA

One to 3 years of professional (nearly exclusive) C and C++ programming
experience in a Unix, OR an NT, client/server environment. Knowledge of
Sybase, SQL and Xwindows an asset. Ability to cope with multiple demands
simultaneously in a fairly high pressure development/enhancement real time
environment. Comfortable with 24/7 operation. Strong math skills and
experience in intensive computational programming. Ready to commit to
Bermuda for a minimum of 3 years. Excellent interpersonal/communication
skills.

ABOUT THE CLIENT: Our client is a dynamic, trading/investment/mutual fund
company based in Bermuda with assets of over $U.S. 950 million. The company
has a track record of generating superior risk adjusted returns .They
operate 24 hrs/day in most major financial markets around the world.
Sophisticated proprietary computer systems are used to analyze and forecast
market behaviour. They employ nearly 50 professional and admin. staff in
Bermuda.

ABOUT THE POSITION: This is a very technical role (10% analysis, 90%
programming) whereby the successful candidate will be developing financial
trading systems. He/she will work as an independent developer directly with
traders and analysts on day-to-day trading applications, with real-time
distributed systems: Solaris/Sybase/Tibco/Xview. He/she will develop new
software as well as enhance existing systems, most in C++ or C. One job is
75% Unix, 25% NT, and the 2nd position is vice versa. Must be prepared to
work 10 hour days and to come to Bermuda for at least 3 years..
