Hi, I'm very new in Unix environment, now using Sco unixware 7.0.1 but
cannot utilize the 2nd CPU, can anyone help me on this?? below is some
capture that I've been done b4.... thanks in adv.

I have already install osmp option and rebuild the kernel....

1. check on mp kernel
# /etc/conf/bin/idtype
mp

2. check on processor info (still can't see processor 1)
# psrinfo
0 on-line since 02/09/00 21:48:51

3. check on system info
# uname -X

System = UnixWare
Node = XXXXXXXX
Release = 5
KernelID = 98/08/18
Machine = Pentium II
BusType = ISA
Serial = XXXXXXXX
Users = 50
OEM# = 0
Origin# = 1
NumCPU = 1

4. check on package installed
# pkginfo | grep osmp

What kind of "edition" are you using?
Base and Business editions only support 1 CPU.

Regards.
