Assignment 7

Please note that I have allowed assignment 7, page 309 to be handed in a
week late. Assignment 8 is to be handed in on time, so this means you
need to hand in two assignments on either the 28th or 29th.

Attendance on the tutorials are still compulsory and we do take
attendance from time to time.

Note: in question 2 , page 309, you are asked to describe their
functional level strategies. I have said in class that there are no
functional level strategies. Just describe what goals, plans, and
methods they use in their functions to pursue their business unit and
corporate strategies.

If the firm has only one business unit then it is likely that the
business unit and corporate strategy are the same.
