I would get an Alert:
"The file /j2se/1.4.2/doc/api/overview-frame.html cannot be found. Please
check the location and try again"
I just tried the CS350 page and got the same thing when I go there THE
SECOND TIME.
I understand that there are also problems at the cs349 a2 specs page:
http://www.cgl.uwaterloo.ca/~wbcowan/teaching/cs349/s04/assignments/a2.html
I have found that clearing the cache fixes the problem, so it is likely a
browser bug. It does not seem to repro in netscape.
I noticed that Mozilla 1.7 recently became the default mozilla in path.
Could people be noticing this problem because of the roll-over?
If (MF|CS)CF doesn't plan to take action, can someone confirm, please?
(Did I hear somebody say that Mozilla 1.7 (milestone) was released on 17
June 2004? *cough*cough*)
Much thanks,
Will

Hi all,
There appears to be a problem with mozilla and netscape displaying certain
web pages. I can across this particulary with the cs350 course webpage
(www.student.cs.uwaterloo.ca/~cs350/S04/index.html).
Does anyone know how to fix this? The pages work in lynx.
Thanks,
Jason

They seemed to have made some changes in 1.7 (the version on the undergrad
enivornment) to change the behaviour of the bug slightly, which probably
has somehow affected us more than the average user.
If you encounter a reproducible way to come upon this bug, please file
some information on the above page, and it may be fixed in future
versions. Otherwise, you can use the workarounds mentioned on the page.
