I've worked with mathcad in the past, but wonders how it compares to
mathematica and matlab.

This newsgroup is dead, but matlab and mathematica groups look busy.

Sorry that should read "you're" not "your". It was supposed to be a
contraction for "your are".
e.g. "You're right!"
contraction for "your are".
