Mathies,

I have, as of yesterday, resigned my seat on Feds council. cf.
<http://uwstudent.org/article/2003/12/11/105501388>

As such, there is now a Math/Co-op council vacancy. If you're an
undergraduate student in the Faculty of Math, in co-op, and not part of
St. J or Renison, you can run for this spot. I'm pretty sure those are
the criteria, but I don't have the bylaws in front of me.

If you want more details, contact Brandon Sweet at bbgsweet at watserv1
dot uwaterloo dot ca.

If you want to know more about what it entails, you can contact me, or any
other councillor or executive listed at
<http://www.feds.uwaterloo.ca/government/studentcouncil.html> (this page
does not yet reflect my resignation) and
<http://www.feds.uwaterloo.ca/government/fedsexecutive.html>.

Cheers,
Rob Ewaschuk

Sorry, this isn't accurate:
> Bylaw 1,
> VIII Students' Council
> H. Elections
> Third paragraph:
> In the event that a position on Students' Council is or becomes vacant
> before November 1, a by-election shall be held in the constituency to
> which the vacancy relates.

It's after November 1, so the seat will go unfilled. I thought it was
January 1 that was the cutoff date for that.

Cheers,
Rob
