A new Symbolic Computation Group event has been scheduled:
Computing Column Bases of Polynomial Matrices
In this talk we present an efficient deterministic algorithm for the
computation of a column basis of an input matrix of univariate
polynomials over a field. In addition discuss some of its applications
of this algorithm. In particular we show that our algorithm can be used
to generate efficient algorithms for the computation of column reduced
form, determinant, and Popov and Hermite normal forms.
