It looks as though you are logging in by ssh -Y or ssh -X. xauth

is trying to get a response to allow port forwarding. This could
be caused by a missing home directory or a bunch of other things.
There have been problems in the undergraduate environment the last
36 hours, and this may just be another symptom.

graphics machines, even with X11 forwarding off. I have the assignment
finished, but, based on the README, it seems that it should be compiled
for the final time on a graphics machine.
