install g++ in virtualbox

Hi,
I was trying to compile the program of A2P1 by using g++, but the
terminal showed that g++ is not install. Then I try to install it by
command "sudo apt-get install gcc-c++" and it require for a password.
I have already tried my computer user's password and the quest
password, but failed. Is there anyone facing the same problem or can
someone help me.

Hi,
If you created your own virtual box installation, you set that password
yourself. I assume you are using the CS136 image, which they set the
password to be cs136Iam.
