The internet is a very helpful tool for many people in the world today.
It allows things to be done much easier and more efficiently for
everyone. On the other hand there are problems that come with this new
peice of technology. Problems like pornography are things a parent must
worry about day after day. It is incredibaly easy to get on to an adult
web site even by accident. Children should not be able to access these
types of sites with the ease that they do. Another problem that you
hear about daily on the news is how young children are meeting older
adults on the web, and then later arranging physical meetings. This is
a huge danger as the children in the worst cases are raped or badly
hurt. This is all going on in the parents house without them even
having a clue. Problems such as these must be stopped.

The internet is a tool that has infinte informtion on it. Along with
this comes the weirdos that have the freedom to post what they want to
such as pornography of all sorts. This information is not what children
should be looking at on a daily basis. Parental controls and networking
controls schould be used whenever possible to restrict access to these
sites. In the future better controls should be developed to totlly
restrict access to these sites but unitl then we just hope that children
will not drop nto these websites.
