incredible, I had soooo much fun and am psyched you guys are spinning at my
party :)
* John Howard, Pete Moss, James Christian, and Pharoah are spinning at the
after hours.
As for extras I have a lot in store for you. First of all the place is going
to be really decorated. I met this guy at Altitude who is psyched to go nuts
with the place. He has madd ideas including human decorations, staging stuff,
and interactive games like a scavanger hunt, but I don't want to spoil the
surprise. Remember, if you want to do something just drop me a line, all help
is welcome.
Then their are the fills and thrills -
* 15 minute planetarium shows with open tables for the arena DJ's. I've told a
bunch of them and they are really psyched about this.
* Hyper-Japanamation videos
* Masseuses
* Mimes
* a fun castle/moon walk
* a sea of balls
* Face painting and play stations are in the works but Sony can't do it because
they are completely booked but they gave me some alternatives, and the face
painting depends on weather my insurance will cover it because the venue is
worried that someone might break out in a rash or something.
* a smart bar, fruit, candy, etc...
* toys and glow sticks (which will be sold by the venue but you can bring your
own)
* hair wraps
* a wicked sound system and light show
* and a lot more as I think of it.
About all the" what should DJ's play" and forms of music postings, the two UK
guys will be a treat and can do anything. There's a lot of house in there but
that shit is fun to dance although jungle roots on Sunday made a believer out
of me. It's the way of the future and absolutely incredible to dance to. If
you were there you probably got a teaser flyer from me so next time you see me
and remeber who gave you the teaser, give me a nudge.
As for the party, tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, parking is
free because that $5 parking deal in my mind is BS, and the after hours is
free.
The $5 parking thing by-the-way was never the work of the promoters in
past parties. The venue requires it, and pockets it all. The deal with the
door and concessions (i.e. high priced water) is also the venue, but once your
past the doors your home free :)
I do want to stress one thing about this party, and that is to be careful.
At Altitude their were four OD's. Although everyone came out of it fine, the
thought of someone getting hurt scares the hell out of me so please be careful.
No what your dealing with and with whom if your involved in that, and be smart!
So mark your calanders and pass the word...HEAR NO EVIL
