[CTRL-A][SHOW] Free Anime Show: January 29-30
CTRL-A - Club That Really Likes Anime
based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. As we move into our seventh year of
activity, we'd like to invite everyone in travelling distance to come to a
free two-day anime show here at the University of Waterloo. Here's our
show announcement:
-=-=-=- IIIIIIIIIIIIIIT'S SHOWTIME!!! JANUARY 29TH & 30TH
Of course, the meat and potatoes of CTRL-A's activities has always been the
monthly show. The first show of W99 will be held this coming Friday and
Saturday (the 29th and 30th), starting at 4:30 pm on Friday and 11:00 am on
Saturday, in the usual show place of EL201. Here's our planned lineup:
Friday:
Boku no Marie 1
Shoujo Kakumei Utena 1-2
Earthian 1
Saber Marionette J TV 1-2
serial experiments lain 1-3
Vision of Escaflowne 14-17
Saturday:
Nadia of the Mysterious Seas 21-23
Berserk 7-8
Hana Yori Dango 1-2
Legend of the Galactic Heroes 13-15
Rurouni Kenshin TV 1-2
Cowboy Bebop 1-2 (really tentative)
Neon Genesis Evangelion TV 25-26
plus a Mystery Movie (bwahaha!!!)
Exact shows, episodes, and times are subject to availability and the fickle
finger of fate, but the show should look at least _something_ like that.
(In particular, Cowboy Bebop is being reported as being unlikely to be
complete in time... but we are eternal optimists. If we don't show Bebop,
we'll try to make sure that something equally cool takes its place.)
As is the CTRL-A way, this first show of the term will be free for everyone
that comes. So, bring all your friends, darn it!
We'll be selling pizza and pop on Friday, and will likely have something
to eat on Saturday as well.
