Martin Talbot Title : A user-centric design for spatial auditory
maps
Abstract:
I will present the results of a user-study on environmental maps
involving five blind participants and two orientation mobility
specialists. The study consisted of interviewing the seven participants
and observing the five blind participants interacting with tangible maps
and low-fidelity prototypes. A design framework for the construction of
spatial auditory maps will make use the information presented in this
talk.
