Hi everybody,

This week-end I put a mail proxy in front of qmail, calles ASSP.

Right now it is passing on to qmail only messages that have addresses to
which we deliver mail in CGL. The remainder are refused during the SMTP
session.

If somebody tries to send you a message and it is refused they will get
a 350 message from their mail transfer agent telling them why it was
unable to deliver their mail.

I believe that right now assp is only filtering out messages headed
toward our machine that have no corresponding user. Amazingly they seem
to constitute about 90% of our incoming mail.

your mail service.
