Title : Training HMMs with particle filters in stream processors
Abstract:
Hidden Markov Models are temporal probabilistic models that have been
found useful in a great variety of applications. For this talk, I
present a way stream processors like modern GPUs and heterogeneous
multi-core processors like IBM's CBE can be used to solve the evaluation
and training problems in the context of HMM-based online handwriting
recognition.
