Ryan Stedman Title : User Aided Discovery of Handwriting
Recognition Errors
Abstract:
Handwriting recognizers have recognition rates of around 90%,
meaning that about one it ten letters or words are misrecognized. Even
with the continual work on improving handwriting recognition, there will
likely always be some rate of failure, and in many cases, such as the
medical field, incorrectly entered data is unacceptable. We have been
looking at methods to aid users in discovering errors in handwriting
recognition, so that they can easily find and repair these errors.
