Venture for Canada is a not-for-profit organization that recruits top recent graduates to work at top Canadian startups in need of talent, with the mission of fostering entrepreneurship.
Venture for Canada Fellows spend two years working at one of Venture for Canada's 180 Partner Startups, where they gain the skills, network, and experience to successfully launch their own firms. Fellows participate in a five week long Fellow Training Camp at Queen's University where they receive workshops in everything from sales, to marketing, to product design.
Over two years, Fellows receive trainings, and ongoing mentorship - One year into the program, and two years in the program, there are one week training camps for Fellows.
Fellows come from diverse backgrounds, and include biology majors, business students, mechanical engineers, and political science students.
