Mumbai will soon witness a frenzy of celebrations with the Ganesh Festival just around the corner. In all, it is expected that nearly 3 lakh Ganesh idols will be brought to homes and community celebrations- and a similar number of idols will eventually be immersed at the various Mumbai beaches. The city beaches, never really known to be totally clean, get further polluted with holy wastepieces of idols which have not got dissolved, flowers, and decoration material etc. 

 

This year, let's do two things together- celebrate this popular festival and also protect our environment! Let this year's Ganesh Festival be Eco Friendly.
