Hello Math Club,

I had a great time bowling with all of you last week. I'm sending out
a notice of this week's schedule -- note that the calendar has been
updated as well.

The Department Dinner will be this Friday. We will meet outside
Padelford at 6:15 p.m. and walk to the restaurant together. We will
probably be going to Araya's Vegetarian Place at 1121 NE 45th St.,
however we need to have a head count to let them know ahead of time.
I will send another alert once we have a catalyst survey up on the
site. I'd appreciate it if everyone could take the time to RSVP.
This event is open to math professors and students, as well as family
members. If you know of someone involved in the math department that
is not a member of the math club, please invite them and direct them
to our website to RSVP.

Winter Lecture II will actually be moved Wednesday March 12 (postponed
one week). We will send an abstract and reminder at the start of next
week.

The GRE Prep Session is meeting this Friday at 4 pm in PDL C-36. We
will continue with the past methods of working through practice
problems in a small group.
