Hello Everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying your summers. Please join me in congratulating the Haiti Project Team for becoming finalists in the UN Mondialogo Competition! The two students who worked on the application will be going to Stuttgart, Germany in early November for the Mondialogo Symposium.

Hey All,

A few more details from the link below, we are one of 30 finalists from all over the world.  We are 1 of 12 finalists in energy, and 1 of only 11 projects associated with universities in the U.S.  There were almost 900 project proposed, but only about 105 complete project teams (and thus eligible).  The 105 number is misleading though because it was a difficult process to complete a project team and only through perseverance by some of our members was our team completed.

Congratulations goes out especially to Kyle and Eyleen, who wrote most of the proposal.  Nice job guys!  Remember, the grand prize is $25,000 toward our project!
