EWB Advisors,Good News!Through the support and encouragement of many of you ESSD (Essential Skills for Sustainable Development) is finally on the books for 3 credits this May. It will have Liberal Studies and Diversity designations at Northern Arizona University for this first official year. I met several of you at EWB-USA in Denver and you know I could talk at great length about this new short summer course which seamlessly mingles technical training, cultural sensitivity and safety/health/emergency first-aid. Its goal is to prepare our students for productive world engagement. I see it as an essential component to our “due diligence” if we expect to send our students out into this dangerous world to participate in learning through service. For more information see attached flyer and visit---http://sites.google.com/site/essdnau/homeWe can only accommodate 20 students this summer. Please forward this to potentially interested students!!!! Registration is open.Paul Trotta
