Waterloo to enter agreements with two South Korean institutions |

The University of Waterloo will sign memoranda of understanding with two institutions from South Korea today. The MOUs explore collaborating on work integrated learning and possible research collaborations in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, chemical engineering and quantum computing and nanotechnology. Delegations from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), including the presidents of both institutions, will participate in the signings, and tour parts of the University of Waterloo campus afterwards. A representative from the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning (MSIP) will also attend.
