March 13, 2010 - The United Vietnamese Student Associations (UVSA) of Northern California will be hosting its 3rd Annual Northern California Olympic Challenge for its affiliates. The UVSA Olympics is meant to promote physical activity and social interaction between the VSAs of Northern California.
University of the Pacific, Stockton
8:00am-5:00pm
Fees: $5 - Affiliates/VSA members, $10 - Non Affiliates / Non VSA members
Late Registration: Last day for early registration will be March 10
We will also be accepting cash or check payment DAY OF Olympics (MARCH 13). For payment / registration, please contact your ICC Representative.

Join us Thursday, March 18 at Reposado Restaurant in Palo Alto. Come meet like minded Asian American professionals in this fun venue in the South Bay. We will be starting our event at 6:00pm. Come to mingle with other professionals and enjoy some fun food and drinks. Reposado Restaurant is located at 236 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto. NAAAP-SF's monthly networking mixers are held the 3rd Thursday of each month, alternating between the South Bay and San Francisco. If you love networking with like minded Asian American professionals, then start marking your calendar! Members can attend this mixer for a special price of $5 if they register online before Wednesday 17th March, 5PM. Price is $10 for non members, and at the door.

"A Village Called Versailles" Film Screening + Reception

Please join BAAPALS for the upcoming March 20th screening & reception of "A Village Called Versailles" by Director S. Leo Chiang at the 28th Annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival (SFIAAFF) presented by the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM). The festival comes to San Jose on Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21 and features some of the finest Asian and Asian American cinema. A VILLAGE CALLED VERSAILLES is a documentary film following the struggles and triumphs of the Vietnamese American community in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina, as they oppose government actions to site a toxic landfill in their neighborhood.
