A note about rowing this week.

I just got back from Kendal and the wind is blowing upstream causing white caps.
Not good conditions for any boat.

Check conditions before you go down. Wednesday looks like it won't be as bad, but Thursday and Friday look similar to today,.

This from the safety committee

We recommend 4 oars on the water - Private 2x, Club 2x, Club 4x,  ok on the water.
No Club 1x unless with Pontoons or with an adjacent Club approved Safety Launch.
The club singles that are set up for pontoons have a P in their type slot on the boat reservation screen.

Private 1x should take extreme caution. We recommend they go out with an adjacent buddy boat (another 1x makes 4 oars) or a Club approved Safety Launch.

Once the docks are out, there will be no more Club boats because they will all be put away.
Docks are going out on Monday, 11/10.

Reminder that we are putting the rest of the boats away on Saturday, 11/8, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Kendal and the HHS boathouse.
Meet at Kendal at 2, stay as long as you can, come later if that works for you.

Also put Sunday, 12/7 on your calendar for the Annual Meeting at the Black Center at 6:00 pm.
More details to follow
