Subject:  Free Training Plan... a couple of details...

Hello all,

First, you need to create a TrainingPeaks free account if you do not already have one...

Follow the basic instructions from the following link (copy and paste the whole thing into a new window):

After creating your free account, log out of your account and then back into your account...  After that you can fill out some basic information about yourself by clicking on your name, and then "Settings" in the drop down menu, in the window that pops up fill out as much of the "PROFILE" link on the far left side of the window that pops up that you want to.  This is not required to have an account but is a good idea.

Then you use the following link (copy and paste the whole thing into a new window) to connect your athlete account to Ala's Coach account:

After using the link above, log out of your account and the back into your account...

You can confirm Ala is now your coach by going to your name in the upper right corner of your TrainingPeaks account, click on your name, and then "Settings" in the drop down.  Look on the left side of the window that pops up and click on COACHES.  Your Current Coach should say Ala Crockett.

Your work as an athlete is done.  Ala has to accept your request to be her athlete.  She will then share the workout plan with you as your coach.

Before you can start following the workouts in the training plan Ala has to share it with you (after she has accepted you as an athlete).  You will need to THEN log in to your TrainingPeaks athlete account and apply the training plan to your TrainingPeaks calendar. Here's how:
1.      To apply the plan, log into your account.
2.      On the left side of the window, there are a couple of icons, the bottom one that looks like a binder is your plan library.
3.      Click it and the drawer will pop out with your list of plans in it.  Click the plan Ala shared with you.
4.      Click Apply.  The training plan will populate your TrainingPeaks calendar with workouts.
