UVRF & Friends -- time to PROUTY! (And good reasons to join NOW!)

Dear Former and Future Upper Valley Rowing & Friends Prouty Teammates:

It may seem far away, but it is never too early to start planning for rowing (or cycling, walking, golfing, or.....VIRTUALLY nothing) in July. We hope you will once again (or for your very first time) be a part of the Upper Valley Rowing & Friends Prouty Team!

The 45th Prouty has a staggering goal – $12 million. And to help our team make a significant impact, one of our strategies is to encourage early registration. And to sweet that request, our personal Prouty team sponsor has offered a fantastic incentive:

All participants who sign up for the event as a member of the UVRF & Friends Prouty team by April 15th will get the first $250 raised matched at a two-for-one rate! (Once your fundraising minimum is met - $150/adult; $50/youth).

When combined with the Byrne Foundation match, real magic 🪄 happens: a $250 donation is double matched by our team sponsor to become $750, and the Byrne match brings the total to $1500! 🤯

 

There are so many reasons to participate in this event. The dollars raised stay in our community and support groundbreaking research opportunities and essential support for patients and their families. The event also fosters great camaraderie and being a part of a team amplifies the esprit de corps.

The first match by our team sponsor is at the end of this week, so you'll see the impact very quickly! And do not fret! If you already signed up and raised money - first of all THANK YOU  👍♥️, and second, the double match will be applied.

The most impact you can have is to JOIN THE TEAM, because general team donations are not matched. But don't worry if you can't (or don't want to) be here in July! Just choose the VIRTUAL participant option and on July 11 enjoy your nap (or whatever) and bask in the glow of having done something awesome for cancer research and cancer patients in the Upper Valley.
