Removing the Fuller Sculling Dock

Greetings UVRF:

As many of you know, UVRF offers boat storage for private singles and doubles at Dartmouth's old Fuller Boathouse.  There are indoor racks in the Fuller Shed and outdoor racks alongside Fuller.  The boat owners use UVRF's classic (vintage?) sculling dock, which we build in the spring and disassemble in the fall.

This year, we will be removing and disassembling the Fuller dock on Sunday, Nov. 2, starting at 1PM.  The job usually takes less than 2 hours.  In addition to hardy volunteers who are looking for a good time, we also need two pickup trucks to help transport the pieces up the hill for winter storage.

Please join us if you can!  Let us know if you will be able to bring a pickup or if you will be able to serve on the ground crew using this signup genius link.  Bring work gloves!  And remember that we switch back to standard time that weekend.

This is just a reminder that we will be removing the Fuller sculling dock on Sunday, starting at 1PM (with the time change the night before) on the Dartmouth dock.  We have two trucks coming so if you have some time on Sunday, please join us!
