Hello Ayman Ullah!
My name is Darlene Vera, and I work at the UCLA Blood and Platelet Center! I wanted to reach out to you to see if your group might be interested in hosting a blood drive this winter quarter?
The blood we collect works towards saving the lives of many patients here at the UCLA Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital. Hosting a blood drive is a great way for the University Muslim Medical Association Blood Drive to continue contributing to the UCLA community. Every donation works towards saving up to 3 lives! We would really appreciate the help this winter to ensure the blood supply needed in the hospitals for transplants, transfusions and in general to make sure that all of our patients can survive.
Hosting a drive is one of the most effective and easiest ways to contribute to UCLA. All I need is a date this quarter that would work for your group's schedule and I will provide a link with easy to follow step by step instruction for members to have the liberty to make their own appointments online to fit around their schedules. If permitted, I can come to your group's meeting the week before the drive to briefly announce it and explain the process. I can also set up appointments online for members the day I attend University Muslim Medical Association's meeting.
On the day of the drive, all individual donors will receive an incentive such as a free movie ticket, campus meal voucher, ASUCLA store gift cards; 4 hours pay time if they are UCLA employees! And your organization will also earn points toward winning a food party, gift cards to restaurants in Westwood, or something of equal value!!
