Health Townhall

Salaam y'all, 

So on the 24th (THIS THURSDAY) from 10AM-3PM we will be part of the the health projects participating in this year's townhall in collaboration with the Students Wellness Center.

The purpose of the event is to showcase our project and publicize it among the students. We will be having our own table (and 4 chairs). Here's the event's details:

• Name: MEdicine:  
• Health and Technology: Putting the Me in Medicine
• Location: Ackerman Grand Ballroom
• Time: 10-11 (Setup). 11-2 (healthfair) 2-3 Cleanup ( You Must Be there for whole event)
• Equipment: Rachel and Amy from SWC are working on devising the layout and getting tables and chairs
• Sound: We will have music...courtesy of UCLA EDMC!!
• Photography: There is photography if you want to take project pics

If anyone has an idea of ways we can showcase our work, please share it. As of now, we will be doing BMI... I know it sounds boring so if any of you have better ideas, all are welcome. Volunteers are encouraged to come and share the experience with students interested in the project. (Azar: it would be great if you can send an email, thanks).

Thanks for the info. For some reason I can't add myself on the spreadsheet? I can go from 11am-12pm.

And besides renting a Tanita for body composition, or having a mini basketball hoop (back in the day) I don't know.

Hi everyone, 

The spreadsheet is accessible now. For BMI, it'll be great if we have our own equipment, but if we don't I ask to borrow another project's.

If you can borrow it from another org, that would be great. If not, let me know ahead of time and I will try to see if I can get the stuff from the clinic and bring them over. (obviously, this is like backup plan Z, so try your best to borrow it from an org on campus).
