[UMMA Scheduling Coordinator]

Hello volunteers!

UVP is very active this quarter! Here are details of upcoming events:

This week:
68th Street Elementary:

• Shifts resume this week on Thursday and transportation will be provided at 2:00 PM.  Email us to sign up and reserve a spot!

UCLA CPO Health Townhall this Thursday (4/24 from 10am to 3pm at AGB)

• Name: MEdicine:  
• Health and Technology: Putting the Me in Medicine
• Location: Ackerman Grand Ballroom, UCLA
  
• Volunteers are encouraged to come and share the experience with students interested in the project where UVP will be present.

Lead Project Director App due Friday (4/25) at 5pm (other positions due May 2): 

• Love UMMA? If you will be a UCLA student next year, apply for a leadership position for UVP for next year!

Clinic Shifts!:

• Volunteers will be help patients fill out surveys (you get great patient-interaction experience!) 
  
• For the Fremont Wellness Center: Tues and Thurs (1 volunteer)
• For the Florence Clinic: Mon through Fri (2 volunteers)

Down the road:

Hawthorne Health Fair (May 17th - 8am-4pm - AM and PM Shifts available): 

• This Health Fair is our most popular event every year!

• Volunteers get to help assess the health of the community, which includes taking vitals and blood sugar readings. 

• Please fill out this doc, and make sure that you can go! 2014 Hawthorne Health Fair Sign Ups

Northridge Health Fair (June 1st - 9am - 4pm; AM and PM Shifts available):

• A Health fair similar to Hawthorne.
• We realize that it is close to finals week, but we still need volunteers!
• Volunteers will get to help assess the health of the community, which includes taking vitals and blood sugar readings.
