To all of you out there,
Champlain Region Model Rocket Club (CRMRC) is our local rocket club
http://www.crmrc.org/ and they host launches on a fairly regular basis, but pretty far away (St Albans). If you guys are interested, it looks like they may be moving the launch to the 22-23rd, and we could go to that. We would of course need a car and a willing driver (its about 40 minutes north.) Its highly unlikely Oops 2 will be ready by then, but we could at least go fly Oops 1, and watch the guys fly their BIG rockets. If you thought launching Oops 1 was cool, wait till you see the really huge rockets, Its INSANE!
In case you didn't see, I'm working on a website for us to maybe look a little more official.
https://sites.google.com/site/uvmroc/ if you want to help out with it, I'll add you as a collaborator. Its pretty simple. It can be done with 0 knowledge of html, but with a little google, you can figure out the basics of that too.
Austin is pushing to work on the balloon part of the project, and fly us some cameras or things up to 100,000', so we can start working on that too.
If you guys know of anyone else that would like to join the rocket club, have them send an email my way. I'll see you all in a few days!

Rocketeers,
Two regular fliers have already told me they can not make the third weekend this month (1/15 or 1/16) and would prefer if I can move it to the following weekend (1/22 or 1/23).
Since two fliers who show up is a large percentage of how many people show up for a winter launch, I at least want to ask other fliers what their preference is.
So if you have a preference, please let me know.
Howie
