Hi folks,

I have agreed to coordinate and lead a session
on Model Builder (and possibly to include automation
of Geoprocessing with Python scripts) for the
July 13th VSDP Roundtable. This session is
intended to be a look at what Vermont GIS users
are doing with Model Builder.

If you are using Model Builder and/or Python
scripts for geoprocessing, please consider
submitting models and/or scripts for this session.
I will load the best examples on one computer for
the session. I'm happy to present the material
myself, or you can demonstrate your own if you
prefer.

I see this as an opportunity to further develop
geoprocessing skills while also finding out how
geoprocessing tools are being used here in VT.
But the quality of the session depends on your
input.

Have an interesting model to show off? Found
a useful bit of Python code? Just so thrilled that
you've gotten anything to work? ... let me hear
about it. If I don't receive any material, then... well,
you'll just have to listen to an hour's worth of what
bit of dabbling we've done here in the Spatial
Analysis Lab!

Thanks in advance for your participation.

Best,
Ernie Buford
