Field Cats-

We told you in class, but here is the poop:

You assignment will now be a full scale presentation, using power point
for slides, you will present your report to the class and faculty (Keith,
myself and maybe even Rolfe). Each group will give a 20 - 30 minute talk
about clay point. We will ask questions to the group afterwards. This is
to be just like a professional presentation at GSA or AGU. Each member
of your group will present part of the report to the class. The amount of
time presenting does not have to be divided equally amongst the group
members, but each member must present one part.

Each group will grade each other groups presentation (i.e. you have to sit
through them all too!) Your grades will be reviewed and you will recieve
a grade for your grading. Being unnecescarily harsh is not our goal. You
are to give reasonable grades. We will review your grades and use them to
grade your peer's reports in addition to our grades. You will also
recieve a grade which will count toward your grade based on the quality of
your grading.

Remember to practice, practice, practice. Don't um, uh, ah, hmm your way
through the talk. If you go over 30 minutes, your grade will be adversely
affected. We will cut you off, not allowing you to finish. Under 20
minutes may not accomplish the task at hand.
